  • Myron J. Kebus, MS, DVM

    Is an Aquaculture Outreach Veterinarian and Assistant Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University. He has led efforts to strengthen aquaculture veterinary medicine by providing direct consults, and hands-on training to veterinarians, veterinary students, and fish farmers. A Charter Member and Past President of the American Association of Fish Veterinarians, he previously directed the Aquaculture Program at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture for over two decades. He co-developed the on-line Fish Health Medicine Program and Fish Health Selective at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received the 2021 Distinguished Alumni Award from its School of Veterinary Medicine.

    Michael L. Kent, BS, MS, PhD

    Is a Professor Emeritus in the Departments of Microbiology and Biomedical Sciences at Oregon State University. Regarded as a foremost authority in North America on fish parasites in general and zebrafish disease management in research colonies. He is also an expert in salmonid diseases, in both captive and wild fishes. He is a prolific author of peer-reviewed scientific publications in aquatic animal health, with over 350 papers and book chapters on fish diseases and parasites.
